For Winter Term 2019 all ALICE Children's Theatre Students explored the Dr Seuss story of "How The Grinch Stole Christmas".
Our youngest performers in the P1-3 age group created an ensemble piece exploring how we use our bodies to tell stories on stage. P4-5 students created a physical theatre piece exploring movement and emotion. And our P6-7s used the story as inspiration to create their own Grinch characters exploring character history, physicality and connections.
Classes were packed with improvising scenes, characterisation techniques and games games games! Here are just a few images from our last class of term when the students bravely shared their works in progress with their families.
